


Our Story
For Nekoosa was founded by a group of community members with one goal in mind – to preserve and continue the beloved traditions of Nekoosa, WI. Our journey began with the Nekoosa Hometown Christmas Riverside Lights and Santa Visits, which sparked the idea to create a nonprofit organization dedicated to organizing and managing these events.
It all started with a desire to keep Nekoosa’s spirit of community alive. We are a group "for the people, by the people," working to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to participate in fun, family-friendly activities.
Since our founding, For Nekoosa has taken on the responsibility of managing a variety of beloved community events, including:
